Hello there. My name is Jarvis and I am the owner/chief creative of JADIS Design Services based in Columbia, South Carolina. I have been a professional designer for over 17 years. I started my professional career working for the Florida State University.
I have always had an ability to draw and I believe I have a good “eye.” This manifested itself into a design career while I was studying engineering, computer science and music at school. I am mostly a self-taught designer but I am constantly learning. My favorite classroom is the internet, but I do have a room full of books that I love to reference and I am always looking for new things to read to get different ideas. I am also a hobbyist photographer and I enjoy taking pictures of landscapes and nature.
Throughout the next year, I plan on designing something everyday and showcasing it here. Plus, I plan on putting up a few pictures that I think would be worthy of showing to others as well as writing a few essays and philosophical opinions about design.
